How to Save Money by Enrolling in an HVAC Maintenance Plan

When energy prices are as high as they are currently, every penny you pay towards your heating and cooling system counts. South Jersey homeowners in Voorhees, Cherry Hill, and beyond are looking for ways to reduce their bills this year, but what they might not know is that enrolling in an HVAC maintenance plan is a great way to keep expenses low for years to come.

Have you ever heard the saying, “You have to spend money to make money”? When it comes to HVAC maintenance, it goes a little differently: “You have to spend (a little) money to save money”! Here’s why HVAC maintenance plans are worth it.

The Financial Benefits of an HVAC Maintenance Plan

It might seem counterintuitive to sign up for HVAC services when your heating and cooling systems seem to be operating fine. As another saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” right?

Maintenance plans help you avoid larger, more expensive breakdowns and HVAC repair calls. One of the biggest advantages of tune-ups is that you can identify and fix small issues before they turn into costly emergency problems.

With a heating and cooling expert inspecting your system every spring and fall to ensure that your equipment is still in good condition, you’ll keep your HVAC operating as efficiently as it can. And the more efficiently your system is running, the less money you’ll spend every month on energy bills, and the longer your furnace, boiler, air conditioner, or heat pump will last.

As heating and cooling experts in South Jersey since 1974, we’ve worked with enough customers to say with confidence: homeowners who enroll in maintenance plans pay less in the long run than those who don’t. Breakdowns and expensive emergency repairs will catch up with you eventually!

What’s Included in an HVAC Maintenance Plan?

HVAC maintenance is important, but that’s not all that’s included in many maintenance plans. While the details will vary from contractor to contractor, you can usually expect other perks and services included when you enroll. With Bovio-Rubino Service, here are some of the things you can expect when you sign up for one of our Protection Plans:

  • 2 maintenance visits (precision tune-ups) every year
  • Convenient service reminders
  • Priority service over non-members
  • Discounts on service calls

Choose the Right Bovio Rubino Service Protection Plan for Your Home

If you’re looking for the best HVAC maintenance plan near you, Bovio Rubino offers four different maintenance plan levels to fit your home’s needs and budget: Bronze, Gold, Silver, and Platinum. While all plan levels offer protection and peace of mind for you and your family members, the perks of membership increase with every level. Our Platinum plan even includes benefits like free service calls or no extra charge for overtime work.

It can be difficult to find a trustworthy HVAC contractor when you need heating or air conditioner repair for your South Jersey home. At Bovio Rubino Service, our NATE-certified HVAC technician team has more than 40 years of experience helping your friends, family, and neighbors save money and stay comfortable in their homes.

Applications for the 2026 Bovio Rubino Service Young Women’s Leadership Conference are Live

South Jersey Rising Junior and Senior High School Young Women are Encouraged to Apply

Voorhees, New Jersey – April 1, 2026 – Young women going into their junior and senior years of high school who are thinking about their futures are encouraged to apply to attend the 2026 Bovio Rubino Service Young Women’s Leadership Conference on Wednesday, July 15 in Voorhees.

The application to attend the Young Women’s Leadership Conference is now live and available through Friday, May 1 by midnight. The Conference is part of “LeadHERship in ’26,” this year’s Bovio Rubino Service community cause which “seeks to advance the opportunities of young women through career readiness, entrepreneurship, community betterment and a personal health and wellness mindset.”

Speakers, workshops and discussions are part of the one-day Conference in July. The opportunity to present an original idea that betters the community after the Conference will be presented to the Conference attendees.

Investing in young women is an idea close to the heart of Bovio Rubino Service president Angela Rubino Hines, a Mom of two young women and a leader amongst very few women in the HVAC and Plumbing service industry. In 2025 Hines was named one of the country’s “Top 12 Women in HVAC” by ACHR News. While she’s humble about the success she has achieved it inspires her to encourage the next generation of women leaders.

“We look forward to investing in young women this year at our Conference, through creative programs with our team members and through partnerships with nonprofit organizations. ‘LeadHERship in ’26’ is our way of giving back and inspiring the next generation of women leaders right here in South Jersey where we live and where our customers live.”
